Bed is made from 25 Grade Cast Iron and is hardened up to 400 BHN hardness, strictly inspected with Microlevel, Hardness Tester and Straight edge.
Boring of Head Stock is done on WMW boring machine fitted with induction hardened and ground Spindle of threaded made from alloy steel. Spindle has external and internal grinding.
Double Screw Apron is totally enclosed oil bath system with lever type arrangement for automatic feeds and fitted with gear made from alloy steel
All the gear in Head Strock are made from En-8 and with high range of speed. (Nitriding gear)
Electrical panel board has been provided below the Head Stock with ON, OFF and Inching System.

   Double Screw Norton Gear Box: Top
Provided as time Saver equipment with separate Thread & Feed Shaft. Thus, feed & thread gears could be changed rapidly and decreases the wear and tear of Half nut and Lead screw.
